Eternity is in Process Now

"Very often in our anxiousness for the joys of the future we run away from the very things we are wanting and needing today. An appropriate examination of the passing moment will prove it leads to eternity. We need to constantly remind ourselves eternity is in process now."
--Marvin J. Ashton, "The Time Is Now", Ensign, May 1975, 85

This is great wisdom, and an excellent reminder for me to live in the present, rather than look forward to that blessed day when my kids are potty trained and in school...They are growing so fast and it will be here soon enough.
I shall strive to turn all my "somedays" into TODAY!

Thanks for putting things into perspective! It's way too easy to forget that life really is made up of all the little moments and that it's the journey that counts (well, the destination is still important... :-)

Also, I'm so impressed with your pear-canning! Way to go! I just barely, two hours ago, picked a ton of pears off my sister's tree and am looking forward to canning them... I think... Last time I canned pears they turned pink on me! They better stay nice and white this time or I'll never do it again! So, if I have questions, can I email you?! j/k... I know you'll be on a trip. Good luck with that, by the way! And enjoy the time with your little guy.
