Greetings of the Season to all of you- our family and friends. We love you all!
We've had another busy year in 2014. It began with lots of snow!
We celebrated in Reno last year, which was fun- being together and all. But I think we have sworn off any future holiday travel as we all got sick at the end of it and had to fly home half-coherent. We will be celebrating at home this year!
This Spring Elena had some art displayed from school at our mall. She is an excellent artist, and we are so proud of her.
For Memorial Day this year, we explored the Shenandoah Caverns in Virginia, which were beautiful.
Nearby they had a huge warehouse display of past floats from Rose Parades in years past. That was really fun to explore too.
The school year ended before we knew it and it was summer. Elena turned 8 on July 6th, and she chose to be baptized.
So our extended family from Reno came to witness the event, and to see some sights with us on the East Coast as well.
We saw the Hill Cumorah Pageant together, and visited some church history sites.

We also took them to our favorite day-trip spot- Dutch Wonderland. They also have a fun little water park for kids and everyone had a blast- especially Emily!
4th of July parade...
Back to school again in the fall- Elena started 3rd grade, and Aaron began 1st. They really love their teachers this year- as they always have so far!
Emily turned 2 years old on September 1st, and continues to run the show.
Little diva!
Aaron turned 7 on the 17th, and he picked dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. Probably because they have tablets for the kids to play games on. :)
Emily had her first pony ride...
We finally gave in and got a minivan- which we LOVE!
And, as is tradition, we went to Ocean City, MD in October. We got lucky with really good weather.
Not far from there is Assateague Island where you can camp, and they have a wild life preserve for wild ponies. We even saw a few during our brief visit. We plan to go back and actually camp there next time!
We enjoyed some farms and corn mazes this fall as well
Emily was a bee for Halloween, and Aaron was a skeleton. Elena was a dalmation because she "LOVES animals."
Early December, we went back to Dutch Wonderland for their Holiday opening. They had pretty lights all over the park and even had their moving dinosaurs dressed up! The best part was minimal lines. I think the kids did the roller coaster about 10 times in a row without a wait. It was funny watching them come out the exit and go right back on.
I think next time we'll make sure we bring hats and gloves, as it got a little chilly.
Jim has also started his Masters Program this year and will be busy with that for a while.
He still writes for the Sports Memorabilia auction house in the meantime, and I still work part-time at a physical therapy office. This October marks 10 years of working there. Phew!
Elena also started Karate and learning viola this year. Aaron tried out flag football, but would rather do Karate like his sister. (He will soon.) Emily is the baby sister everybody loves, and she thinks she's the boss. She is talking quite a bit now, and giving many orders.
We are busy in the meantime with our various church callings (assignments) as primary chorister and ward clerk (in a very large ward.) We also had birthdays this year- imagine that! We are now thirty-something, and it sure feels like it!
That's all for now...
We wish everyone a safe and memorable holiday season, full of blessings and peace.
Love, The Feagin's
